Gear Requirements for all Races



Headlamp or flashlight

Water Container

10 square inches of reflective material

Flashing red LED lights both on front and back



75 and 150 Mile Gear Requirements

64 ounces of water containers

3000 calories of food

Minus-20F degrees sleeping bag or colder rating

Insulated sleeping pad

Bivy sack or tent


3.5 fl. oz. fuel 

Pot to melt snow

Firestarter 

Stove to melt snow

Cutoff Times

50K None

75 Mile Racers Must arrive at Ojibwa Park Checkpoint Mile 40.5 in 17 hours.

150 Mile Racers Must Arrive in Rice Lake in less then 32 hours.  The Cutoff time in Ojibwa will be 52 hours and the cutoff for finishing will be 72 hours.

Awards

Trophies for 1st place in every event category for all three races.  Every 50K finisher will receive a finisher award.  75 Mile finishers will  receive trophies. 150 Mile finishers will receive trophies and finisher shirts.  Every racer will get a hooded sweatshirt.

 

Starting and Finishing Areas

Buses will load in Park Falls.  The 75 mile race will start at the Rice Lake Trail Head and the 50K Will Start in Winter.  All races will finish in Park Falls At The Tuscobia County Park. The 150 mile race will start and finish in Park Falls.

Gear Checks and Pre-Race Meetings

No formal gear checks or meetings.  We will meet and eat the night before the races like last year.
